

Meet Bri
Hi! My name is Bri(ana) Blaney and I am an ASHA Certified and Multi-State Licensed Speech-language Pathologist (SLP) currently servicing children throughout the county of Charleston, South Carolina. I am passionate about helping children feel confident and effective communicating. I have been supporting children with meaningful therapy experiences to develop their overall communication, speech, and language skills since 2015. I specialize in providing pediatric speech therapy servicing children ages 2 to 13 years old with interest areas in speech sound disorders including childhood apraxia of speech, receptive and expressive language delays, autism spectrum disorder, stuttering, auditory processing disorder, and literacy. I follow clinical research-based approaches that are individualized for each child's needs and am always striving to learn more!

Experience
Over the years, I have experience servicing children to support their communication needs working in various settings including clinics, homes, public/private schools, daycare facilities, and a skilled nursing facility. I am a graduate from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor's degree in Speech-language Pathology and received my Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Mercy College in New York in 2017. I completed my clinical fellowship as an early interventionist in Westchester County, NY providing speech, language, and feeding therapy birth to 5. Following my clinical fellowship, I worked as a school-based SLP in Fairfield, CT for 3 years before becoming a school-based SLP in Charleston County, SC in 2021, working with children both in the general education classroom and specialized intervention classroom.
